The leathers that can be embossed on request are:
Luxor - Melis - Pista - Silk - Premium - Porto - Touché
- _ The minimum order quantity is 1 full hide, 1 half hide for Premium.
- _ Lead time for embossing is approx. 7-14 days.
- _ Hides are embossed on request only, prepayment is always required, once hides are embossed no changes or cancellation are possible.
APPLICATION
- _ Leathers from this “Special Emboss” Collection are commonly used for decorative parts and objects.
- _ Avoid use in seating furniture or parts where the leather is under pressure or pulled, as the embossed pattern can flatten or fade with time.
PLATE-LINES / OVERLAPS
- _ The leather surface is pressed with a plate to imprint the pattern.
- _ Each plate has a limited size, consequently the hide is embossed several times to cover the entire area.
- _ Depending on the hide size it can be up to 6-8 times. Plate lines or overlaps are visible on the leather surface.
- _ Cuttable clear panel size cannot be guaranteed for the patterns as each hide has an individual size.
- _ Leather, being a natural product may take the embossing effect differently across the hide. Natural variations can occur.
