LEATHER WORKING GROUP
Consistency and commitment:
all the companies of our group have obtained the lwg certification.
LWG (Leather Working Group) certification is the first worldwide environmental certification for the leather manufacturing industry and has the ambitious goal of improving the environmental impact of the leather sector.
The LWG system has checked and verified the correct performance and effective management of various company areas including the management of chemicals, employee safety in the workplace and their awareness of environmental protection. Furthermore, LWG has given us an important boost in traceability, improving the performance of the entire Futura Group.

Moving towards a more sustainable future with DHL GoGreen.
The processing of the leather is strictly connected to transport and transport is inevitably associated with production of carbon dioxide. This is why we have chosen to support the GoGreen project with DHL: a program that has set itself the goal of helping the world community to limit global warming to less than two degrees Celsius by 2050 through the development of projects for environmental protection.
By supporting DHL’s GoGreen programs, we contribute to the implementation of various projects around the world which aim to offset CO2 emissions and contribute to the promotion of the economy in less developed countries, thus favouring the improvement of the living conditions of the local populations.
